I have always assumed that defex risers would inheritedly shoot better than a grip inline with the pivot of the limbs. Yet, I am assuming. It seems that it would be more pointable rather than holding up a riser at your target. Is this true, or have I assumed wrong. I don't know. My present bows grip is in line with the limb pivots

So basically your asking if a deflexed riser is more forgiving? They usually are, especially with recurve limbs.

I think they make the altermate ground hunting recurve.
I love the Samick stingray,even though it's a straight out copy of several high priced American bows,it still has those lines.
It's a fast pointing instinctive style close range design.
As a studied slow and deliberate shooter,,the design is not in the game.
You really need both,,,,or more.

They do have the prettiest recurve lines.
