This is pretty much what we have, We can replace thumb screws with button cap screws to hide them more but you will need an allen wrench to remove the limbs. The retro fit will look exactly the same.

Definitely quieter before stringing, I seems quieter strung also. I'll have to play with it alot more before I feel I can say one way or another.

I like the idea of being able to retro fit the Das option. I have been doing that for a while with my 17"Das browny, I find it easier to exchange plates than swap limb fittings. American gear is damm good !
