Ok so a week or so ago I asked what people were using to hold their bow when they shot 3d or similar. I lay mine down and hope it doesn't get stepped on. Well there were a couple examples of a clever one, and I wanted to share with you all what I came up with for "Cheap". I was in Meijer and although I rarely buy anything from their joke of a sporting goods area, I tend to stroll through killing time. Well yesterday something caught my eye, and a lightbulb went off.
My bow stand consist of a fishing rod holder($4), used nock, and some electrical tape. I also used some serving thread for added support.
Hangs nicely on my quiver
Used my wife's flower pot, shush don't tell her.
Close up of the nock. If the tape ever fails ill use a piece of electrical shrink tube or a 2 part epoxy.
