How I do it, looking for other ideas/Methods.

First, I put a field point on the shaft and spin it, to be sure it is centered.

Then, per the diagram, I lay it in the "V notches and press it into a soft piece of wood, shown as the removable block.

I then replace the field point with a broadhead (I use 5 minute epoxy),
Set the broadhead point in the indentation made by the field point and press the shaft down on the "V' notches..

Leave until the epoxy sets up.

Perfect alignment every time.

Easy for me, as I use Snuffers with a needle point.
