A rabbit living under a raised flower bed in my GF's backyard was eating her flowers. She wanted the rabbit gone, but NOT hurt or killed...

I set-up a simple figure-four box trap baited with, what else but tastey carrot pieces...

Day One: Wiley rabbit ignores yummy carrot, eats more flowers, GF laughs at Dave and says something about Daves brain and rabbits brain being simular in size???

Day Two: Caught an "Almost P&Y rabbit" in the box, released un-harmed over the wall(to become someone elses problem), flower bed saved, back to being superior brained hero to GF...

We have heavy undergrowth right up to the edge of our lawns and veggie garden,

Rabbits hide in the underbrush and come out to nibble the grass in the early morning and late afternoon.

This morning, we had a bobcat lurking on the peripherals, waiting for a rabbit to emerge.

Bobcat saw us and went into the brush.

Some time later, a rabbit came out to eat.

Coiuple minutes later, bobcat came out of the brush, in overdrive, chasing the rabbit.

Too fast to get pictures. LOL

Don't think I'll have much problem with rabbits, this year.
