Whats everyones experience with these limbs. I was looking at the double carbon and the glass and wood. Both look nice but ive heard they dont run accurate as far as draw weight goes. Seems they run heavier than what is claimed. Just looking for some review's.

I bought two sets of the wood/glass limbs. I was impressed with the fit and finish and the performance. I thought at the back end (29") they felt a tad stacky, but then, everything feels stacky compared to my Uukha limbs.

Both sets ran 5# heavier than marked.

Yeah this is an old thread.

However, for me it is quite relevant so lets revive it - - -
looking at the newer Bosen long bow limbs, double carbon, foam core,

anyone have some recent experience with them?

Fit, finish, weight accuracy (as above, concerned about weight), ordering thru them direct or on ebay, limb noise, etc.

Would appreciate your thoughts and experiences.

Interested in hearing on this topic too. I think about adding another Exe riser to my collection some day and I was considering LB limbs. I did have a very nice experience with the DAS bamboo core’s.

I have the Bosen carbon foam limbs and posted some about them in a thread I will link here.
I just haven’t shot them much yet and I am going to stick with my lighter Das limbs for spring indoor league so I don’t expect to shoot them much for the next 10 weeks.

Lucas is hard to get ahold of right now as before covid they had moved. Everything got shut down again, they are trying to get a backlog of things done. They just recently went back to work like a month ago.

The longbow limbs I've heard run heavier, I believe this is due to the difference in limb pad angles. From what he builds on, compaired to what you the end user end up putting them on. I've never had a set of LB limbs.

Their recurve limbs are a bit funky, even with both sets of my limbs being marked longs (measuring with a soft tape) they match a long limb. However with the limb profile being outside of standard. They need a slightly shorter string to get to brace.

Outside of these issues they are fantastic limbs, the recurve limbs will allow 6 gpp under their warranty. The RC3 limbs I had first were great, however the new RCS limbs are a huge jump in the correct direction. Sleek and slender limbs, very light mass weight too.

They have alot of prebend in them for longbow limbs. I have a set and they needed a lot of brace height to get the string off the limbs. Never tried a mountain muffler style string but that could have fixed the string slap. I could see them working on a morrison style riser with the more relaxed limb angle. They are nicely finished and light limbs.
