TT Titan - 17 inch riser

Samick Privilege Limbs (misspelled as "priviege" must be French) marked 32lbs on a 23 inch riser and 30 lbs on a 25 inch riser.

So, I figure 38lbs on my 17 inch riser.

I draw 29 inches - so now we are at 40 pounds at my draw length.

Some full length CX Predator 2 2040's with 125 gn field points flew nice and flat.

Also tried some full length 45-50 woods with 125 gn filed point. Did not fly as nice, the overall weight seemed to make the arrow arc. I liked the extra overall weight - seemed to quiet the bow.

Thinking about some aluminums. Would 1916s? work.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks!

Deflection is deflection. 1916's have a deflection of .623. What ever the deflection of a CX 2040 is? Your wood has a deflection of .577 to .520.

I'd go to Stu's Calculator and put in the info. Then compare IMPACT point of bare and fletched shafts.
