Hey Guys
Just after some advice on a purchase im looking at..
The Riser: http://www.archerydirect.co.nz/index.php?route=product/product&keyword=Infitec&product_id=1118
This seems to be a good, entry level riser.

The Limbs: http://www.lancasterarchery.com/w-w-sebastian-flute-premium-carbon-recurve-limbs.html
Read some great reviews! And they seem reasonably well priced+ They come in at 70" @38LB

This seems to be the best basic setup for the money im willing to spend.
($500 NZ)

If there is anybody out there who has any experience of that particular riser please leave a comment :)

Or if there is anybody looking at selling thier gear...
Hit me up
Cheers

Infitec is made by Cartel, and judging by some rather lukewarm reviews of their other offerings, I'd be cautious about this one. For about the same price, you can buy a SF Forged or Hoyt Excel or Horizon riser.

I have heard good things about the SF limbs though. Good enough that I just took delivery of a set today. They feel good so far and the fit and finish is excellent. I'll know more this weekend when I get a chance to take them to the range.

I'd look for one of Sam's Warf conversions to put those limbs on. You'd have a riser that at the very least rivals and in many cases exceeds those high dollar factory risers and probably enough money left over to buy a dozen quality carbon arrows....

The limbs are a good choice but the riser looks like one of those generic entry level ones that do not last long. I agree about looking at a SF Forged or Hoyt Excel or Horizon riser instead.

Dave is right, looks no different than the cartel phantom, I've shot that and the sf premium and forged + both great risers and around the same price, for my recurve I ended up getting a second hand hoyt horizon in black out which worked out cheaper than the other three, i would pick any other the ones mentioned over a cartel product but my first choice would be the hoyt.

I like the looks of the limb lateral adjustment system.
