I am new to archery and trying to learn before making a purchase
I am looking at the two bows posted above currently
I realise they are made out of different materials and the yamaha could be really old.
would one be more accurate or in general better than the other?
Thanks for the help
I saw this on Archery Forum today and thought it pretty neat. Basically a yamaha recurve turned into a compound by a U.S distributer. Sound like they had breakage issues but a neet little piece of history none the less.
I found this on another board showing some cool footage of the Yamaha/Nishizawa factory.
It shows the making of a forged riser some limb manufacture and some nice FITA recurve footage including some of a young looking Yamamoto.
I believe the risers shown being made is the forged super feel II...
I have a Yamaha Alpha EX riser that's beginning to look a little tatty so I've deceided to respray it before it goes off for sale. can anyone reccommend a suitable type of paint/undercoat/primer, etc that would give me a first class finish .
