I've been in contact with a local fellow who has a Bear Trophy Master compound bow. I was wondering if: 1: is it "Warfable" (for ILF plates), and #2: can the riser be used for a "poor man's warf" ie-bolting on a set of Samick Journey limbs (non-ilf)? Thanks in advance.

Pulled the card from one of my trail cameras today, not a lot of great videos, but one thing struck me. We always hear how sensitive trophy bucks are to intrusion etc. I've got videos of decent bucks and they are indeed alert. BUT, the average doe outdoes them in sheer hyper-alertness, or just...

It took almost five months, but it was worth the wait. Is is 68", 42# @28", Curly Birch riser and ebony limbs belly. The back is actually a carbon layer called Diamond Carbon. I shot it today for a few minutes (I didn't get much time) and it is smooth with little stack. I like the grip, it...

In this post I will provide both a quantitative and qualitative assessment of my new Falco Trophy Carbon longbow. Falco is an Estonian company that specializes in longbows. They also understand competition bows which is one of the reasons they were on my list of candidates. The deciding factor...

as what this new-to-me 66"/33#@28 Stealth D-Longbow is teaching me is the same class that the 32# Excel taught me...that i'm pretty much overbowed with ALL my other stickbows..."IF"...i want to shoot picture perfect form and become a far better trad archer..and the Falco's got the goods. :) I...

Well?..I just recieved this 66"/33#@28" Falco Trophy Carbon Longbow 5 days ago and although i wasn't expecting it to be an NFAA legal D-Shaped when strung longbow (as it's advertised as an R/D) when i bought it?..which in turn makes me feel obligated (in some strange way) to shoot wood arrows...

"THE GREAT": 1. It's a 66" 33#@28" NFAA Legal "D-Shaped When Strung" Falco Trophy Carbon Longbow..and spec wise?..i couldn't have ordered one more suited to my form/practice/target bow needs. 2. I got it for an extremely reasonable $200. 3. The Grip: While it's no Toelke Apache13 grip?..it is...

Thought everyone might like to have a look at the trophy lion that Howard Hill shot while in Africa making the film "Tembo." Stinson is pointing to the hole in the lion's head where Howard shot it right between the eyes! Enjoy

Just made a string for my Black Douglas with this new string materiel from BCY, they say it will replace 452X Apparently it mixed with some fibre from Gore which will stop the fluffiness you can get with 452X..... Well I put together a 14 strand endless string with halo serving on the end loops...

Cam Newton. I hope there are some college football fanatics on this board. Whether you cheer for Auburn, or not, it's hard to deny that Cam Newton is the top college football player in the nation this year. As of today he has 1077 yards rushing in the first 8 games of the season. Auburn lit...

What the heck is the stigma amongst trad bowhunters these days about trophy bowhunting? I don't get it... I've been doing it for over 20 years and it hasn't ruined my enjoyment of bowhunting. Some trad bowhunters act like it's an evil thing of sorts and they are above such things. And please...

http://www.rdmwildbunch.com/breeders/rdm-44-mag.htm# Here's a place that breeds trophy bucks. They also book trophy hunts on their ranch all year round. This is a profitable operation and there are people who will pay good money for this type of "hunt", but I don't feel it's hunting in the...
