I have just finished building my first longbow and the limbs turned out a little more stiff than i would have liked for them to be. I noticed there are a lot of posts on here about "trapping" your limbs and I have no idea what that means.
Anyone with any incite or help for a beginner bow...
Liam (my son) set traps with my guiding partner on Friday (the joys of homeschooling!). Yesterday morning we checked them and set a few more. These are the pics from Saturday morning. My partner's son came along.
Guy's: I read a post the other day where someone was talking about trapping limbs to improve performance? I'm not sure what that means. Could someone share a little more about trapping and is it wider at the back or the belly, or am I just lost!.. Thanks..
