Took me two weeks to set 46 X 3D's twice as long as normal, I listened to my body and rested when I needed. Had 5th round of Chemo yesterday, Doc is happy with progress and after the 6th I shouldn't need Chemo for 9 months is blood numbers keep stable. My legs were in a bad way, cancer all the...

Day 3 into Chemo and feeling very weak and fatigued, they say to keep moving as it helps recovery, so did my chores like getting logs and clearing snow. Managed a little shooting but my 39# MK's are way too much, I put some 32# Samick Impress limbs on, shooting with Lightspeeds and 150g up...

RI spent a week hunting friends property in north central Nebraska and experienced conditions I'd never encountered before. No one has hunted the property for over a month but almost all of the deer were nocturnal. The bucks showed up on the game cameras between 11 PM and 4 AM. The Does moved...

Gregory Campbell - Boston Bruins forward. Blocked a shot on goal while the Bruins were shorthanded. In great pain, stayed on the ice and held his position until the puck was cleared and he could skate off. With a broken leg. Makes me feel that complaining about a sprained ankle makes me a...

I had to take the last 6 months off due to making knives for the Museum show in Nov. and Dec, I went out yesterday and shot around 50 times and I was all over the target. I can't stand doing that but I knew I was gonna be off. What worries me is my anchor and release. I have had trouble ever...

I am leaving for my first bear hunt in Quebec the end of this week. I have narrowed my bow and arrow combo down to a couple of choices. I will be shooting either 125 grain Snuffers, 4 blade Phantoms, or 4 blade Stingers. My arrows will either be 450, 525, or 577 grains, bow weights between...

Now, I'll admit that most of us consider toilet paper to be an absolute necessity in our hunting pack. And sure, some folks might think that folks who insist on carrying toilet paper when they go to the woods can't be too tough. But that's because bowhunters don't think of toilet paper in the...
