I acquired this Black Swan riser at Christmas and I need a set of limbs. I would like to get them in a short to medium length and a 40-45lb. draw weight at 28". I have contacted Black Swan and they are searching but I thought I'd ask here also incase someone has something to fit my need. The 2...

Picked up a 62" Black Swan while I was down south at Rod's clinic. I put it on the rack because State was coming up and I didn't want to mess myself up by changing horses in the middle of the stream. I brought it out today for the first time. It's short and light and I'd decided to make this my...

Hey Guys, This post is overdue. I give the highest praise to Loc Do for outstanding craftsmanship. He did a fantastic job converting this riser to ILF. The limbs are Dryad Epics rated at 48 lbs and I scale the bow at [email protected]". It's a joy to shoot and might be my most accurate longbow, very...

I just got my Black Swan ILF conversion riser back from Loc Do. I really like small/skinny longbow type risers and Loc Do did his magic on this all aluminum Black Swan riser. No extra parts as the ILF plate is machined into the riser. With my new (winter sale) Dyrad RC Epic medium limbs 38#...

Anyone have any personal experience with Black Swan bows? There is an extensive article in TBM this issue. According to the article, in 2000 Norb Mullaney tested a Black Swan bow and stated it had the highest efficiency rating of any bow he had ever tested.

I am aware of the horror stories with the ILF limbs and the bad customer service. What I want is people that have had experience with their hybrid model to tell me their opinion. I really, really like the looks of that bow.

I had a look at black swan's site last evening. In the videos there was a fellow, Rip, shooting a 70# recurve with 350gr arrows. That is 5gpp. Hmmm I have a ~ 2004 (??) black swan one piece long bow. I see it is not offered any longer on his web site. Actually I have shot the bow a great...

Getting ready for the upcoming Elk season. Going to try a bow quiver on the Black Swan 58" Hybrid. Trying an Anneewakee Kanati Hunter.

Aiming this more at the target guys than hunters but any experience is welcome. My issue is, Black Swan market their bows and limbs as having phenomenal speed with very light arrows. The latest claim I heard was almost 300fps with a 5gpp arrow. If these limbs really are that good, how come...

Someone once said the Black Swan looked like a trailer... So I ask - Trailer Trash or Arrostream? My 17" riser with 39# carbon/ceramic recurve limbs has arrived:

Arvid was kind enough to let me try a set of his new Carbon Ceramic Matrix recurve limbs. 38 [email protected] Too bad the temperature dropped and the wind came up today. If they shoot half as good as they look, I will be in heaven...

Does anyone own a Black swan Recurve made in the last year or two? I see all the bows are belly mounts. They must shoot good as they are short on the lipstick. Lou

I saw Bowbender Mike's conversion of a Black Swan recurve riser to DAS and thought it was really cool. I just happened to find a Black Swan longbow riser that I am going to have Mike convert for me. But I couldn't help playing around with it first. I don't have any Black Swan limbs to put on...

I hear you can drop in black swan limbs to a dalaa riser. Has anyone done this and if so what gains did you find? pros and cons.. any used limbs out there #low 50s'?

I got a pair of Black Swan ILF longbow limbs yesterday. Hmmmm these ILF limbs don't have any rocker on the bottom of the limb butt. Limb butt is flat like the old Hoyt T/D limbs. Does this mean I will have to bolt them down all the way, thus not have tiller and draw weight adjustment? if so...
