I have an old Sky Hunter supreme riser. It was take down recurve that Earl Hoyt developed using a Hoyt Spectra compound Riser. It sounds like this riser is warf able. Is his riser milled like that Black Bear or do you use the plates ? Also who can do the work?
I have two of these bows sitting in the garage with cracked limbs on both. I would love to find a use for them. I was curious if anyone had ever warfrd one? Most info I see is on Hoyt or Black Bear risers. Thanks for any info.
I just found an American Archery Cheetah Supreme covered in ugly green paint and cleaned it up, but I'm looking for some more information about the bow. I know the company was based in Wisconsin and that it's likely a 1960s model bow, but beyond that I'm not coming up with anything. Any help...
Well....here we go again. How long has it been since the Supreme Courts ruling/decision on the issue of same sex marriage ? A couple of weeks maybe.....well...now a "New" Bill has been introduced by Representative Lois Call...a Democrat from California. She, and I'm sure a portion of her...
does anyone know what years the hoyt sky hunter supreme was produced. It was the original ILF I'm told. It has a slotted limb butt with bolt similar to ILF and a button system rather than dovetail
See pic of one of my favorite bows.
Old SKY Hunter Supreme, with my (new) Rick Barbee string.
I got the string today, put it on, strung it up, and great job RICK, it buttons down at 7-3/4" brace.
Rick & I collaborated on color combos and I left that to Rick & his daughter, figgered any girl with...
I have a Hoyt Supreme compound from about 94-95 or so.
It is a heavy bronze riser with some triangle cutouts, 21" o.a.l.
and 18" bolt to bolt.
It has swivleing limb cups and I am wanting to tear it down and go ilf.
Can it be done and what would be a ball park figure?
I have pics. of riser if...
I donated a nice SKY Target Supreme 32# 64" bow to a youngster.
One limb had a problem and I did not know it.
These are the ones with a "button" on them that fits the Rambo-style riser.
If anyone has any in the upper 28# to 34# range, I could use them.
Question is, is there an alternative to...
I have a mid 90's Hoyt Supreme machined riser that would make an excellent ILF bow but what is involved with converting it over and are all ILF limb pads pretty much similar in width and length? The riser is a 21in and should work out very well, although a wee bit heavy!
I just picked up a Sky Hunter Supreme from a local fellow and having seen some discussion about these here, wanted some more info on it.
It has a black riser with a set of what appear to be factory camo limbs marked Sky Supreme and the Sky logo.
I have seen some photos here of some faux wood...
I was looking through my room of treasures finding things to sell to generate money for my next bow and came up with a Sky Hunter Supreme [email protected] It's got some scratches on the limbs but nothing at all structurally wrong. What's it worth?
i just saw this bow in the website of redmond outdoors...it is advertised at $719.95 vs the regular montana at $299.95....aside from the exotic woods used does anyone know what are the other differences which could justify the $420 difference in price?...thanks for any replies....
