Anyone know how long a set of skins will last stored? I am in the process of moving and found a set I had forgotten about. They are copperhead and have been sitting stored for probably at least 8 years. Would these still be usable and if so for how long?

Today I put the finishing touches on what I have been calling the "snake" longbow and shipped it out to its new owner all the way in Tennessee. I couldn't be happier with the way this bow has turned out and its almost sad to see it leave the shop but I know its going to a good home and it will...

This is what the snake longbow riser looks like after we stained and sprayed it with the final finish. This model however has already been sold but keep an eye out for the next addition to the "Traditional Tattoo Series" bows. Plenty more where this came from!

The latest addition to our "Traditional Tattoo Series" bows is complete! This model is of a traditional snake design done with a modern twist. The design was first drawn on with pencil then went over with black ink pens. Next step is to stain the riser then spray it with a sealer finish. And...

This is a DIY thing, I'm looking for tutorials if anyone can share some good ones. Also wondering if anyone has experience with a particular glue that works well...'preciate any...

Hello everyone. I've used snake boots but I've never used gaiters or chaps, so, I would appreciate any feedback from those that have used both and would like to know your preference. The gaiters I've seen dont seem to protect all the foot area but I know a lot of guys use them. Thanks

I've hunted in snake country all my life and so far have never been bitten. Always wanted some genuine snake boots, and something tall to keep my pant legs from getting wet in the early morning dew. After looking for a long time, and checking prices, I finally found some at Cabelas. They are...

A buddy of mine has just won 2 good indoor tournaments in 3 weeks. He is really a barebow 3D shooter but took his outdoor rig indoors and did really well. The interesting point is that for both shoots he used the same riser and same arrows but different limbs. The first one he shot a high end...

This coming Fall I plan to be in the woods as soon as the Squirrel hunting season opens here in Kentucky. We have plenty of copperheads and rattlers around the house here and I hate having to be on edge when moving through the woods due to the snakes. I figure this year I am going to get myself...

Seen a lot of pic's of snake skin backed limbs on here and other sites, but never in the flesh. How's it done, are the skins laid over a finished limb then clear lacquered, or are they under clear glass. Mick

Thanks to 4Nolz, I am finishing up putting a set of timber rattler snake skins on my beloved Dryad Epic limbs. The project had a few bumps in the road, as I was learning how to do it. But, in the end, I was happy with the results. I'll need to put a few more coats of urethane on the limbs...

Just acquired an old Bear Super Kodiak from an antique mall. Someone camo painted it very unproffessionally with big runs, thick gobbed on paint, then tried sanding it off ruining any finnish and decals it once had. several holes have been drilled in the riser, even a nail in one of them ! I...
