I wanted to ask about a method I use but may not be correct? When i begin tuning a new arrow setup , I take a single bareshaft and shoot it and look at flight and or impact and tears in cardboard target. I have a set of various length bareshaft to try and compare flight. If i know an arrow...

I have to keep my practice rep down. So I use shooting aids. David Sosa had many innovative ideas. Not the least of which is the hunting sight he devised. This is a shot from 18 yards which is in the dead center of the glow green sight oval

I have never shot a single bevel broadhead. If it screws on to the arrow, how do you keep it from unscrewing when it hits a target or the game, and rotates? Do you have to choose a right bevel, or a left bevel, to avoid this?

I just ordered some grizzly single bevel heads. I am curious to hear from you guys about your experience with single bevel heads vs double bevel. I am shooting 45# and 440 grain arrow. Im at 20% FOC with my GT Pierce arrows. This year I will be hunting antelope, whitetail and turkey so I...

I just ordered the SteelForce 225 grain single bevel broadheads and some 225 grain field points to practice with. I planning on using the single bevels for elk and whitetail this fall. I'm shooting a #60 Bear Kodiak Hunter, with GT 29.5" 340's. I've been watching with Dr. Ed Ashby, unfortunately...

I haven't ever used any and haven't bought any yet, but was wondering with the increased rotation of a single right bevel head, do any of you guys ever in counter your broadheads loosening on impact? Of course I'm suggesting that they are screw in heads.

I'm wanting to try some 175 grain two blade broadheads. I'll be using them on mainly whitetail and possibly elk. My bow is a 60# bear kodiak hunter and my arrows are 29.5" gold tip 340 spine. I don't want to "break the bank" when it comes to spending money on broadheads. I just want a good, easy...

Just finished this right bevel 175 grain Grizzly for a guy at work. The shape of this Broadhead makes it very easy to sharpen. I hope hunt sharp availability out of the box does not sway broadhead choice. This straight edge and single bevel is very user friendly.

Flemish string, single loop with bowyer's knot - anyone running this setup? I'm researching to make my first string and this method sounds very appealing because I only have to weave one loop, and the opposite end with bowyer's knot allows leeway for length adjustment plus the benefit of reusing...

Hi, I’m writing a book about making PVC bows and I would like to include some kind of string making. Flemish strings are easy to make, but very difficult to explain in a book (IMO). Endless jigs are difficult to make for beginners. So I thought about a simple "single post" string jig made with...
