I noticed something today while shooting three fingers only with a bow tuned zero tiller for three under shooting off the shelf . Pretty accurate out to around 20 yards , but past that I’m having to gap . While shooting around my backyard range this afternoon, I shot low using three under at a...

How far of shots are you taking at deer? I will probably be deer hunting with traditional gear this year (45lbs 29”draw, 150grn Magnus Stinger two blade, 600 full length) and right now I’m good to 20 yards. I’m also trying to figure out what to do about a hunting quiver. Do the have removable...

I've been playing around with low FOC (7-6-5%) and making long shots, trying to get a maximum distance.......without the arrow's path becoming dodgy and haphazard. Has anyone here ever done this and arrived at a definite low FOC limit?

Well my Borders CH/HEX7 came in today and I don't know what to say other than... "I'm Not Disappointed In Any Way, Shape or Form" It's chunky little fireplug of a stylishly sculpted 17" riser of Shedua w/ Bubinga footing sports triple accent beams of CF insuring stability of the construction...

For you guys shooting a 20 yard crawl, do you use your fixed crawl and gap with real close shots? I spent all spring/summer shooting 3-d's learning where to hold on 20-25-30-35 yard shots but never really practiced the 5-10 yard shots. In some of the areas I hunt, a 5-10 yard shot is a real...

I have not shot since the Baltimore Shoot Sometimes life just gets a hold of you :) This video was done for two reasons One I needed to shoot and I wanted to record my actual cold shots after a bit of a lay over Next I've been using my new Video Drone for work but I wanted to incoperate it...

I have noticed that shooting long shots really forces me to focus on form. While I can get away with not expanding fully on short shots, at longer distances my point-on can change as much as 5 yards, if I do not do the work. What this means is that you have to do the work on every shot. Unless...

Matte dark Grey..like gunmetal..awesome color! I thought you might like to see the color..awesome shooting riser! I'll say it again, this the best value in a 25" riser out there folks. The finish on this came just as flawless as the blue one did. There is 4oz on the stab if you were curious. I'm...

A little background...I've shot compound consistantly for 5-6yrs back about 20yrs ago and recently decided to get back into archery so jumped on the ILF bandwagon. LOVE IT! I shoot just about every day at home (13yds in basement) and am an avid hunter. So I'm having this problem of grouping...

When I talk to compound guys the #1 fear they have with going trad is they will see the "big one" beyond tradbow range. The odds of that are pretty low especially around here when most shots are less than 20 yards, but it does happen. My first year going back to trad I went out to shoot a doe...

Went to a couple shoots this year and I really enjoy the fun targets and challenging shots. Would love to see pics of your shoots. I wish I would have taken more pictures but I'll post up the few I have. This one was pretty neat. A zombie coming up from the ground.

I'd been shooting a bow for around 3 weeks,it was a Ben Pearson Jet @ about 20lb. We'd just come out of the Toi Toi when a Peasant jumped off the ground 5 yards in front of us. I swung and followed it,a perfect going away shot. The arrow caught it in slow motion and as it impacted I thought...

EagleEye was doing some shooting today, and I was hanging out with him when younger brother brought out his recurve and took six shots from 20 yards, stone cold, with no warm ups. These are the two (of the six) he was most proud of...

Figured I'd share this moment with you all...I received the bow 2 weeks ago but refused to shoot it with it's original string...so I had two custom made Flemish numbers twisted up out of 12 strands of B50 by Mrs. Linda Brackenbury...then got the strings 3 days ago but alas?...it's been raining...

Me and the Son went for another shooting session with the Black Onyx. We did bare shafts again, 55/75's and some Beamon classic's in 500's. They are full length with stock inserts and 145Gr field points. We did not get to the Beamons because I have a broken leg as well as a broken arm, and I was...
