While it's not indoor season yet, I thought to start a new thread for this marvellous form of self torture.
Last week I decided my form needs work and dug up my indoor/ target setup. Lacking proper coaching I use the 300- round as a benchmark and a tool to evaluate and improve my shooting.
All those competing, Best of Luck!. I see Grayson let em know he's on the property!. 9.5 per arrow 570!, Great Shooting!.
On the upper left click where it says divison, select Barebow then select Go on the right.
Picked up my first FITA target and decided to try comparing NFAA score vs the FITA scores on my first 2 tries since the ring sizes (other than being split) are identical I think.
As a disclaimer, I shot the first 30 arrows at 22yds (accidentally) and moved the target to 20 yds for the next 30...
Sorry it's taken a bit for me to post these. There were a few discrepancies that I had to cross check. I think it's straight now.
I am missing one score card. I am waiting to hear back from him on whether he turned it in and if so, what was his score. If anyone in LB knows what Noel...
Just checked the Saturday scores. Dewayne Martin is 3 up on John Demmer
286 to 283.
Bobby Worthington in Senior Trad had a 291.
Wish I was out there shooting. Maybe next year.
Having trouble making this an active link. Somebody help me out.
Here is some data on the Median Scores for both the NFAA Indoor Nationals for Traditional and the USArchery Indoor Nationals for Barebow
Average and Median are not the same. Here Median is the score where 50% of the archers score higher, and 50% score lower. Because there were some people...
I've shot a couple of personal best scores the last couple of days. They're nowhere near a lot of you guy's scores but I'm still pretty excited. I shot a 509/600 on the FITA target and a 280 on the NFAA blue face target. I really wasn't expecting either of those but some days things just go...
spoiler alert- NOT an archery hunt. my older brother has, as many of you are aware, been dealing with pancreatic cancer this past year. he managed to kill a suicidal jake out of a flock that surrounded him this past spring, out of curiosity i suppose since he was in an open field, LOL! so far...
I can't believe no one has starting bragging about the scores they shot at Spring Nationals! I figure DeWayne shot at least even and Calvin probably did better than that.
Does anyone know some scores or some good rumors?
I hope this works with a .pdf Otherwise it will have to wait until I can convert it to a jpg I think...
Anyway, THANK YOU to everyone that came to shoot. Another thanks to my TT friends that came, It was a blast shooting with you all.
Here they are.
I shot my very first FITA Field this weekend, and fell in love with the format. I am hooked. I cant wait until the next one I can get to shoot.
The unmarked wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Knowing the target sizes their ranges really helped to "guess" what the distances were.
