Good evening! I wanted to see what is the best way to strip paint from a bow riser (original paint) in order to paint it up. I’ve seen where folks have used Airplane Stripper. Seems like nasty stuff for sure. I’m working on a Bear Black Bear Riser and a Hoyt Spectra.

I want to replace an ILF bushing in one of my sets of limbs. I am wondering what the best way is to push the old bushing out. It is very tight and I hate forcing things until I know what I am doing. Also, is there a good way to push the new one in?

I spray canned some flat black camo paint over what I believe to be Dura Coat (also black). Now I'd like to remove it. How can I do it without messing up the original layer of Dura Coat? The new paint seems to scratch off easily with my fingernail. I'm thinking fine steel wool. The reason I...

Got these Hex5h limbs used, they are in good shape except the finish is flaking off. As you can see this is occurring mainly where the limb savers were which actually came off with the finish, but now the finish is continuing to flake off. I know Border will refinish for $125 + overseas...

I traded for a bow and did not know it had and arrow holder stuck to it. I did not see it in the pictures of the bow before I traded. Not a big deal but I want to remove it. It appears to be the self adhesive type. What "Solvent" would you use to remove the sticky glue and not damage the...

Okay I'm trying it here. Put this in the wrong forum. :( I have an early 1970s 70# Kodiak Hunter that the original owner put an arrow holder on. The arrow gripper has been removed but the rest of it is still glued to the riser. So what would be the best way to remove this ugly black wart off...
