A few questions. If I put wraps on my shafts could I also paint them? Does spray paint add weight to the shaft/affect performance?

Hi, I read in another post about new W&W dark lims. I alway tought ILF limbs were paint silver to avoid overheating in summer. Also saw many hunting bows with black limbs. Are black paint on limbs dangerous to its integrity? Thanks Martin
