Does anyone know what the limb pad angles are for the 17” and 21” DAS risers, as well as a BB and Rambo Warf? I believe I’ve seen at least one/some of them listed in degrees somewhere before, but I’m having trouble finding the info now.

Am slowly piecing together the mysteries of ILF type bows. Let's say I buy a 25" riser from Curly's Archery Extraordinaire, then a set of long limbs from Moe's Marvellous Bows and Arras. Given the 'standardization' of ILF (?), will the limb pad angles of Curly's riser automatically be correct...

Replace DAS Dalaa Rubber Limb Pad Just purchased a used Dalaa and the rubber limb pads are kind of mangled. I'd like to replace them, but don't see the rubber pad alone for sale on 3 Rivers. Anyone ever do this with some kind of alternative rubber pad? Thanks! Steve

Was just wondering if it was feasible to mount DAS Dalaa limb pads to a BB riser. Without having it in front of me I think I would have to replace the limb attachment bolt with something longer to account for the thicker limb pocket bottom. Not sure what else might be involed. I know given the...

What do you use to measure your limb pad angle? I have an old Bear wood compound riser I am thinking of changing the angle for longbow limbs. What angle degree would work best for LB limbs?

Hi all, Checked through old threads and can’t find any info on limb pad angles of Border Tempest compared to regular Oly ILF. Keen to compare Tempest to my Wiawis Nano Max. Anyone have measuring kit? Thanks.

Gentlefolk...while I'm thrilled with my CX Mayhem Hunter Shafts? wasn't too long ago we had a member (elsewhere) complaining of shattering their CX Launching Pad Nocks upon release where it happened more than once. This waived a huge red flag to me where as I inspected my CX Launching Pad...

I called hoyt to ask what degrees the 21 inch satori riser works off of. This is proprietary information. YOU WILL NEVER FIGURE THIS OUT IF WE DONT TELL YOU DUMMY. They didn't say it but what a joke. I am surprised the even sell risers only. Anyone want to take a stab at it? I'm in on a 21inch...

How much does the actual limb pad angle change when the tiller bolts are all the way cranked in vs turned out? Is it possible to figure something like: draw weight adjustability is 10% which is equal to a 3 degree change in angle? I am asking because I will be building a Bingham take down but...

1st question is the prohunter riser I have is close to 24° as best I can measure. It appears based on what I have read here that 17-21 works well though I think I saw some that were even at 15°. So what is the optimum angle? I guess it depends on draw length etc and could vary per individual...

I hear talk of 15 degrees / 17 / 19 etc for the limb pads... how do I check this on my bows? String and protractor?? How? I'm just curious....

String building question from a relative novice, here's the scenario. I'm building 8190 endless loops, 14 strand, and using .024 Halo for both my loop servings and center servings. Nock fit is excellent. I've been adding 4 additional strands of 8190 as padding. I'm having problems with the...

In May Jinkster posted a good thread about Limb bolt turns out so now I have a question about turns in. My concern deals with the outside angle of the limb versus the limb pad angle. Like many of you, I have a number of ILF risers (too many). Any way, the limb pad angles range from 15 degrees to...

I had to work this morning...and as my (2) CNC 3D Milling Centers were up and running? mind began to drift and ponder about all things archery as it often times does...and this session of deep thought led me to wondering just how far does each turn of a 3/8ths-16 limb bolt travel? up...

Anyone know the limb pad angle on these? Can't find it anywhere by search. If possible, the manufacturer or some official value would be nice (minimize possible measurement issues). Thanks, R

This question was asked by Jason on Dryad thread. "You can't shim a ILF limb, right? The Dorado can be shimmed because it just has a pin and tube fitting in place of the ILF dovetail? " My dorado is a DAS connection not a standard connection. But you could shim an ILF limb in the same way all...

I sold my BB riser because I just had too many risers. Anyway, looking at my notes, I show the limb pad angle to be 22 degrees. We all know that 15-18 degrees is ideal and we could discuss that all day . My reason for bringing it up is that I am working on an unknown metal riser that is the same...
