Anybody seen these; https://www.3riversarchery.com/gold-tip-weight-system-nock-adapter.html Wondering what the implications on arrow flight might be here. I recently went to a heavier field tip, I like the stability Im getting in my shots but the gaps have shrunk alot due to the early drop...

I recently came into a dozen aluminum arrows that accompanied my new bow to my door. As luck would have it I am shooting tighter groups than I have before, and I am starting to break nocks. I got the new “Marco Nocks” today, and they go onto the taper very tightly. I seem to remember...

I've owned this 66"/40# Blacktail Elite for about 3 months now during which time I did my best to refine what arrow configuration worked out best where my focus wasn't about obtaining the utmost in speed and/or flattened trajectories but rather how smooth, quiet, forgiving and pleasant shooting...

I'm about to try making my own strings and I've been trying to find info about number of stands and serving to fit various Nocks. I have new spools of D97 and halo 0.019. If I'm remembering correctly my current strings are both 14 strand flemish from 3 rivers. No idea the serving material...

I now have 4 unusable bowstrings because they are too tight to fit the nocks on my existing arrows. The most recent one is a 12-strand bought from Amazon. I'm starting to think I maybe either trying to use the wrong type of arrows or have been buying a wrong string material (Dacron). Can you...

I have this suspicion my arrow nocks are too tight for my bow string. It takes 6 lbs. of pull weight to get the arrow off the string. Is this OK? If not, does it affect accuracy of shots, and which is the best approach to fix this? Change nocks or change string? The bow I'm using has 30# draw...

Bought a dozen Predator II’s in 2040 for me and 800 spine for my son. The nocks are smaller than my Heritage 90’s. Just wondering if you guys that get arrows with smaller nocks, change out the nocks to something larger or make smaller strings? Seems like changing nocks would be easier, then I...

I'm starting to look into fletching my own arrows, and I think I have a good enough handle on the basics of that to pick up a jig and start making mistakes. One thing I don't get though, is the relationship between nocks and center serving diameter. I've tried searching, but can't seem to...

I shoot 3 under and just recently got a Kodiak Magnum. Would you guys shoot with one or two string nocks? If shooting with two nocks, what kind of distance between them, for a 28.5” draw?

What are the pros and cons of pin nocks? Are they suitable for heavy hunting arrows? I've always shot Easton Classic or Legacy aluminum arrows, but now that there are reasonably straight carbon arrows with enough GPI to make good heavy hunting arrows, I'm starting to play around with carbons...

I am listing different sizes of vintage Archery hardware on Ebay and wondering when and where 9/32 glue-on points were used because I can't find 9/32 dowels. I suppose some guys use 9/32 nocks?

I,m kinda new to ILF bows and I bought some carbon ones to try @ my DW which should be 42>lbs. I also have a few rookie questions and would appreciate your help. No.1,I bought some Easton pin nocks and used hot melt glue to attach the pin onto the shaft, should I glue the nock on? I know it...

Okay, I used to shoot split, but a few years ago I went to 3-under and prefer it. I've bought shafts that come with those small 'compound' nocks, and used to change those out for the larger 'S' or 'Super' nocks made for split. Then I asked myself 'why bother?' Can't see that it makes much...

Tested these on the ground and at a posting trot. Understandably, these won't appeal to everybody, since they have a bit of a specialized purpose. But so far, I have found they are as accurate as standard nocks, and are slightly easier to blind nock.

Anyone here use Accunock Pin Nocks? I used Accunocks in my Platinum Pluses for ages quite happily. But recently I've been using FMJs with pins and Accunock Pin Nocks and I'm not sure about them. They seem to be sensitive to serving fit in a way that the non-pin ones never were. The mechanism...

I have some x impact arrows and I need a smaller throat nock, the original nocks are to big in the throat area. Anybody use different knocks in these arrows thanks. Brad

On my #60 Bear Kodiak Hunter, I have two nocks on my string and shoot 3 under. It seems the distance between the two nocks has maybe increased. I don't know the original distance and I'm aware there has to be some slack between the arrow nock and the two when not drawn. I drew my bow back and...

The nock receiver on my Bitzenburger walked off, and I am trying to fletch arrows with a right wing helical and glued on nocks. I assumed I needed a right handed nock receiver but the internet quotes Bitzenburger stateing : "Cat #1006 Straight Jig & R.H. Clamp: includes standard nock receiver...
