In the course of rehabbing a recent shoulder injury I was left not shooting for 2 weeks and then shot a 20# youth bow off and on last week and in deciding I was ready to get back on my lightest DW big boy bow?...I spun the limb bolts out on my Spig 650 Club bringing it down too it's lightest DW...

I'm looking to try a stick on magnetic rest on my wooden riser. They seem to be thinner than the spring type of flipper rests (even modified) so there won't be as much of an issue with a riser that's only cut 3/16" past center. Never seen one, are the durable and quiet? And do they always...

HI, I'm looking for information about the Gabriel rests. What is the difference between the "Gabriel Unirest GU III" and the "Gabriel Unirest GUX Drop"? It looks like the axel is vertical on GU III and horizontal on Drop, but could not find more info. How good are for stringwalking...

I shot 200 shoots thru Black Thunder/Hex 5 W at 20 yards with a plunger and magnetic flipper, then with a springy rest. I used Student T test paired by shot number and score. There was less than one standard deviation. No conclusion

I’ve been playing around with plungers this summer. Man… I’d forgotten how forgiving they are, so I’m setting up a couple outfits to hunt with this fall—never used a plunger on a hunting rig before. I can take care of any noise on the rest wire with moleskin, but what do you guys who hunt with...

Looking for a metal magnetic rest to use with a plunger that is easily silenced without affecting performance. Currently, I'm using a hoyt stick-on target plastic finger jobbie, but with time the curl on the plastic finger changes and I don't like that.

Hi guys I am looking at the spig magnetic recurve rest and was wondering how that works? I think it mounts on the back side of the riser? But it doesnt look like it has a horizontal adjustment like some other rests? How do you compensate for varying thicknesses of riser material? Not that...

Why do ya think the bolt on magnetic flippers are not more popular with us? I have been shooting one on my Gold Medalist for about 3 months. I have been using the Spigarelli Magnetic Recurve Rest ($24.99). These are the ones that fit on the out side of the sight window then comes around the...

Anyone use magnetic rests to hunt with? What sort of material did you use on the wire arm to silence it? What advantages do these have over regular spring type arms that you find on the T-300? Thanks Tony

Guys..I feel like and idiot but what it is a magnetic rest? :help: To be honest I've always thought that it was magnetic so it would "stick" to a metal-riser without an adhesive but I'm pretty sure now that I'm wrong. Thanks, Mike

Looking for some insight on a good magnetic flipper (stickon) that will fit on the Hoyt gamemaster riser, with little or no modifications.. from the looks of the stickons I will need to trim quite a bit. Anyone have experience with these types of rests on the gamemaster? ARE's are out of the...

I'm in the process of spray painting half a dozen carbons with Krylon magnetic paint (primer grey, a bonus...) because I'm going to put down some adhesive magnetic strips on both shelf and sideplate to see if I can't gain a quick 5-7 fps with zero friction...a Trad Maglev rest... In theory it...
