I can understand the loose grip with a perfectly balanced bow with stabilizers or weights but what about a bow without. If the grip fits well enough so when you grip it ,it does not torque does it matter? I tire quickly shooting a heavy riser but without stabilization the bow does not balance...

I attended a new shoot yesterday that promises to become very popular in my area. It attracted close to 300 folks of all styles, but, heavy on compound freestyle and freestyle limited, some of which were involved in a money shoot. It is two days (I attended day 1 only with my wife and son), 40...

I was wondering whether carbon arrows loose spine after repeated use. Have been shooting my tuned FMJs repeated over several weeks into a foam target. On bare shaft they were not impacting straight at 20 yards when I tuned initially. Then after a few weeks I noticed my groups drifting slightly...

So just got my hex 5s (thanks to a great sale) tried to mount them to my best moon riser and noticed they sit and wiggle pretty loosely even with bolts all the way in. Normal? Scared to shoot it with out verifying. My old blackmax limbs sat snug in the pocket.

I set up my pistol shot timer. I wanted to time the interval from the beeper till the shot went off. Debbie hit the timer when I was on the line, hand on the string, and bow down. I was trying to shoot quickly but make sure I had transition to back and draw was anchored. I was surprised at...

I am shooting Easton X-nocks and just served a bowstring with 0.021 Halo, and think the fit is a little too tight. I had 0.019 Halo on the string previously and felt that the fit was too loose, and the arrows would occasionally fall off the string. It takes something more than a tap to get...

What should I use to secure DAS limb pads to the plates? Would contact cement work? Both of mine are loose and they seem to shift forward. Thanks

I'm sure this is a silly question, but, is there a quick fix for nocks that don't lightly "snap" on the string, besides reserving it or buying smaller nocks? I just got some new arrows (6 Easton Epic 500's and 6 Easton Axis 500's) and the arrows literally just fall off the string unless I hold...

were does your bowhand tend to go? Left? Right? Up? Down? Nowhere? I watched some olympic archers on video (slow motion) and it appeared their bowhand didn't move at all. Not a skinny cat's whisker. Nada. Is this because of the amount of mass from the stabilizers & such? I'm just curious; I'm...

I have been watching Bob Wesley's video "Indirect Aiming" toward the end he talks about equipment. One thing he talks about is periodically checking arrow spine. So do they loose spine, I run them thru an AAE straightner so is this and shooting them making the loose spine?

We had a young bull moose wander into the highly populated area of Fairfield County here between where I live and where I work. There was actually an APB out on the thing yesterday because the DEP wanted to tranquilize it and relocate it back in the northwest area of the state. They didn't get...

Hey everyone, I just wanted to lift up a good friend who recently lost a grandmother. Death is never easy but I think in this case it came at the end of a very full life. Still, prayers are always welcome and needed. Thanks, Matt

Hopefully I can type this so it makes sense: I am trying to remove the front sight bracket from my recurve. It's held in place by two screws with hex shaped heads. I got the first one off but the second one is giving me trouble. The brass bushing that is inset to the bow frame is loose and...
