I'm not talking about how high or low the position the limbsaver should be from the fadeouts. I'm more interested in the reason why we put them on the belly of bow instead of the back, other than aesthetic reasons. I bring this up because I was watching olympic archery with Ki Bo-Bae shooting...

Gentlefolk...I do not post this with a chicken little "The Sky Is Falling" demeanor but rather just me sharing a series of events which actually took place regarding the Broadband Limbsavers on my WF19/TR7 equipped bow which played out to conclusion just last night. I received a new test string...

new here. sorry to start with a question, but so it is. smart folks here, and i don't know much. i have a hoyt excel riser with TT blackmax limbs, and don't particularly want more weight, but would like for it to be a little quieter. does the s-coil do anything more than adding weight? if...

The ASA Kentucky Limbsaver ProAm Championship will be held June 4-6th at the Laurel County Fairgrounds in London Kentucky. I know there are several shooters on this forum from Kentucky and surrounding states. It would be great for you to come out and shoot with us. You can find the rules at...

I've always placed my limbsaver at the fade out . Latley, I have notice limbsavers being placed at the mid point or what seems to be upper 1/3 of the limb. I believe I saw a program where Fred Eichler had limbsaver's within a few inches of the tip. I'm curious to know if anybody has...

Hi, I've always put my limbsavers right around where the fadeouts end. Lately I've heard 3" from the limb butt and a few inches from the fade out (didn't specify on which side of the fade out (tip or butt)). What is the general agreement? These things are too sticky (and expensive) to...

I have a BB Warf that I want to silence for hunting and am thinking of outfitting it with various limbsaver gear. I have no experience with this stuff but from what I've read here most folks like the vibration dampening and silencing properties it provides. I want to put on some kind of rubber...

I have positioned the limbsaver as per DAS instruction (on other thread) with the edge at 3" from the limb butt. This distance on KAP limbs put the limbsaver just where limb wedge ends but not on this Flute limbs. I’m looking for some advise, where to put them, there or a little further? Thanks...

I hate paying for simple ideas like Limbsavers if there's a good and easy way to make them up yourself. They really calm your bow down for those quiet shots. So I was in the hardware store getting some fastners today and saw these rubber corks. Whole bunch of different sizes...very flexible and...

I finally got around to changing out some limb hardware for my new DAS limbs today.I was happy that the weight and tiller came out on the medium limbs just like my shorts.I set the brace and shot 10 shots through the crony first to see what I had.I then put a pair of limbsavers on the limbs...

Hi all, I just got a ton of stuff for my warf. I changed several things at once, new rest, limbsavers, stabilizer, new tab. Now my arrows are shooting a little "stiff". I'm concerned I may have put my recurve limbsavers too far toward the limb tips and may have slowed the bow. I read here...

Hey Hank, in the pictures of your Quinn Stallion you have something on the limbs that resembles the Sims mini extreme limbsavers. Is that what they are or some other kind of dampening or stabilization. I am using a 11.5" Doinker on mine now but if what you are using is effective I would use it...
