    Fired up the forge today, Started 10 1/2 inch knife from 5160 carbon steel, ground and fitted to bear tibia bone. Next to quench & temper then glued & pinned blade to bone. Finally poured pewter bolster and tea stain/antique bone & blade finish.... Tea Bath...

    Handles on my knife and used the heavy copper rod, 3/16's and peened it over to captive the grips. Worked well, beveled the holes a bit to take the peening before installation. Lapped the bore in muzzleloader with semi chrome, stainless bl made it shine. My homemade Ballistol working great...
