    1. Has anyone done this? Is it worth considering, or just get a Dryad 15" riser? a) ILF might effectively "relax" the limb pad angle; is this OK? 2. Mock ILF. Alternatively, I'm thinking of routing slots in the limb butts: from the bolt hole to the end of the limb butt. Then limbs...

Hey everyone, I was recently gift a Bear Kodiak Hunter that I am pretty sure is from 1970 or so. serial # KT.... AMO 60" 40x# I think brass medallion. My draw is about 26 in. I am looking for advice. I don't think it's been strung for probably 10+ years, but it did see some good use in it's...

I am reluctantly putting my Covert hunter up for sale. It is a right hand 62" with 19" riser. Limbs are mint medium Hex7 H, 45# @ 28". The riser doesn't have a mark on it. It is a exceptional piece of Indian rosewood paired with the schedua accent and quiver inserts next to the limb pockets. The...

Good evening! I have a question. I have my first compound bow which was a Hoyt Spectra Lite Hunter. Since the limb surface in the pocket is not flat I would assume it’s not a candidate for a WARF bow. Would this be correct?

PROBLEM SOLVED!! I added two strips of rubber whisker string silences and tied them into the string. BINGO. Very quiet bow now. :) Brace height ended up being 6.5", full efficiency of the bow and I couldn't be happier. Thank you all for your help. Hey all, been away for a while, but now...

Eagerly awaiting the arrival of my new Covert Hunter (19"/42# Hex 9 med) and the opportunity to get it tuned and up to snuff. I dug through from old threads on tuning for the Hex 7 and 8 limbs, and everyone seems to settle in on a spine that's heavier than what you'd expect. I encountered this...

Anyone have any experience changing riser color? I'd like to change it from green to black but my knowledge on woodworking is small. How about any other modifications, anybody do anything unique to theirs? Sent from my SM-G960U1 using Tapatalk

I owned either the 3rd or 4th MH riser that David built but stupidly sold it quite a few years ago. Out of curiosity, what is such a riser worth today in the collecting community?

Hi friends of the Damon Howatt Hunter. I bought one not long ago second hand and tried to find out the best brace height. My Hunter (build 1998, with fast flight tips): 62" bow, 50 lbs "on fingers", 29.5" draw length. I tried BH between 6 3/4 and 7 3/4". The sound of the bow does not seem to...

Have any of you Galaxy Ember, Mandarin Duck Black Hunter owners tried putting a bow quiver on it? As I have a few Thunderhorns, I was considering the Two Point but am worried that the limb bolts on the Ember won't accommodate them. So it would have to be the Boa. Just wanted to know if anyone...
