  1. Selfbow workshop
Hello , I have never made a bow but want to learn how to . I do not know many trees in Colorado except aspen and all the ever greens that are here. In the limited research that i have done this past week i have not seen either of these woods being used . So I was wondering if someone could...

Hello, I have been looking at the w&w front bridge risers. Looking for a more stable/ less flexible riser. I know about the Tf Apecs and the Xpert. Does anyone have any feedback on either riser? Have one for sale? Thanks Tim

In one of the BB archery manuals I read about cutting one's arrow so that it hits the plunger on or just behind the forward node. During my online research I found this discussion in the AT archives where coach Don Rabaska answered an inquiry from JimC. The answer: I wanted to experiment with...

I've been working on switching to 3 under and gapping. With the bow vertical am I correct in thinking the string has to be in front of your eye in order to be over the arrow? I know some of the better 3d shooters cant a little. Is this why? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

When stringwalking, the magnetic arm on the rest rattles and vibrates (and hits the riser coz there are dings on both my risers) after the shot. Is that normal? Also, I was using the rear plunger hole and my arrows kept hitting left. I even tried heavier point weight but the results weren't...

by dthx123: Could I ask you guys to comment on what is a minimum and maximum % for .....I believe it's called FOC. How far past center is the weight supposed to be?....Is it the same question as "how long is a string" Or..does it vary with draw weight.....and do you set the FOC and then try to...

There are two basic design ideas for take down bows. One is to include the limbs into the design be it like ours on the back or BW, mounted on the belly of the riser, but they are integral to the lines of the riser The other is to mount them on the back or belly but outside of the bow, like...

Well, I wanted to go heavier on the front end this year not really thinking about the consequences in performance. I'm shooting Vapor 3000s at about 31" and 190gr is just too much for the weight I'm drawing. I can't really go shorter on the shaft with my draw length and can't go any further at...

Yep I said ACEs. I have some left over from my days in compound shooting but they are real stiff and will need front loading to get back in the game. Thought it might be fun to play with. The small diameter of the shaft make the normal inserts an stuff not work so good. Mike

How du yoy treat brass before it gets painted. I have scoured the weight in Isopropyl Alcohol but I don't think that the DuraCoat binds well - I can scratch it off with a nail (actually I also cab do it on the original ones from DS). Is there any kind of primer I can use?

I read an older thread pertaining to the STS Silencer and looked them up online. 39.99 for an adaptor, a rod, and a star shaped rubber gizmo which allows the bow string to stop forward movement and reduce noise. I'm thinking I may order one for my DAS. Can someone tell me if this will work on...

I currently got laid off from my job, so I will only be hunting my front yard this year. I have 7.5 acres that are full of trees, briars, and grasses. I have persimmons, white and red oaks, honey suckle, and rye grass. The problem is that the deer around here are majorly nocturnal. What do you...

So last night after I made the last drunken post here, I shut off the lite-brite and decided to watch some tv. There was some Eddie Murphy movie on. I fixed myself a glass of 2 ice cubes, 2 fingers of rum from St. Croix, and a twist of lime. It was about bar time. Then I hear tires screech...
