Excellent condition except the original owner made marks on the limb bolts and riser. Apparently for tiller. I haven't tried to remove them.

Hello, I've been having some growing pains with getting into serious trad archery and this new issue has me stumped. I recently raised my brace height to just under 7" to help with an issue of the fletchings cutting the side of my hand. I went to test the new brace height and on the second set...

Lost one of my lateral limb adjustment screws out of my WFL riser .
I did a search and came up with two sizes . M4x8 and M4x12 .
So which is it ? I’m guess the only difference between these two is the length .
If so , I’m ordering the longer one .
Anybody Loctite their screws ? It seems...
I seem to be going through an alarming number of arrows and like to fletch them myself so I can position the fletching closer to the nock than average - works well for my anchor position-
Any tips on purchasing fletching?
I'm looking to buy 5" shield feather fletching. Maybe 4" but not sure how...
I just received a new White Feather Lark 19" riser (which is very nice, incidentally). I've put old DAS Kinetics carbon/wood long limbs on it which come out to a 64" bow at about 46# @ 28..
I'm having a little trouble with bare shaft tuning off the shelf. I have quite a bit of experience with...
I just found this riser on Alternative Sporting’s website .
Similar to the White Feather Lark , but without the carbon backing and facing and looks like it doesn’t have the built in side plates ( I’m guessing that’s what they’re called) .
The price look right , so I ordered one .
I’ll let...
For the past few weeks i have been shooting a longbow. It is not cut to center and i have had issues tuning. What shoots good bare shaft has been shooting 4 inches left fletched ( I am a right hand shooter) getting sick of shooting off center and sick of trying different arrow combinations I...
This came up in my newsfeed:
https://scitechdaily.com/the-physics-behind-optimal-archery-feather-design/
It was just presented, so interested to hear what the final conclusions are.
I suspect it won't be much different to what the The Trad Lab came up with.
"Currently, the choice of the...
A pic of my 19” Lark riser and medium Soul Black Flash CF 32# limbs. Beautifully finished and I’m hoping it shoots as good as it looks. I’m new and have a couple questions I’m hoping someone can help me with.
I ordered a dozen VAP elite 600’s and plan on fletching them with 3” feathers to use...
I’ve heard about waterproofing feathers for years. I’ve never dabbled into it. I have played with various floatants for fly fishing.
Please share your methods and experience keeping feathers working in rainy conditions.

Edit: I was inspired after watching a video of Paul from Elite...
I realize I'm blowing this place up with maybe really basic questions, but I'm having a hard time finding the information through the search function, so maybe it will get some more search-able threads out there for guys looking for the same info later. Anyhow...
I built a feather burner, but...
I see a lot of parabolic and shield cuts with shooters but what about the rest like the Pope and Young cut. I suppose there is a number of threads already posted so please comment or direct me to some threads. Thanks
Perhaps you could help settle a little disagreement. If you had a shooting machine that shot the same arrow to the same exact point every time. Suppose you shot a correctly spined arrow with 3 x 4 inch fletches, with the cock feather up and then you shot the same arrow again, but with the cock...
It’s been suggested that I do a tutorial here on TradTalk on how to make a feather grinder. I know there’re a lot of ways to process feathers; this is how I do it. I’d be glad to hear any ideas of how you do it, or, answer any questions about my process.
I made a jig years ago from ideas I...
