On my journey to shooting heavier bows I bought a cheap 60lb Ragim wolf longbow. It turned out to be not very nice looking an pretty dang relaxed about arrow speed, but I did want a cheap throw away type bow and that is exactly what I got. It came with a B50 string that needed silencers to both...

Hi guys, recently got a good deal on some D97. I have never used it before, always prefered 8125 or TS1. Has anyone got any thoughts, good or bad on D97 before I make too many strings :)

Was given a spool of TS1 to try some strings. Anyone know how it matches in diameter to D97? I have a good combo of strands/serving for the D97 and hope to hit it close with the TS1. Thanks Steve

I thought I would ask a question of string material and also relay an experience. Which do you prefer 8125 or D97 or another material and why? For myself this pertains to Longbow needs. I've been playing with different strings as to strand count and material. D97, FF, TS-1 plus etc. Right now...

I have been using some blue, black and silver D97 to twist strings lately... It seems the blue is not near as waxed as the other two...AND..not sure if thats the reason, but as I twist up my second loop...back into the string, my blue gets longer and longer than the silver or the black...

What is the advantage of using 8125 over D97? I have been using D97 but as I have to get some more, I have been thinking about getting 8125 instead. After all, if DAS use 8125, it have to be good. LOL. Would you please share your experience. Thanks Martin
