Hi everyone, I started shooting my lb a few weeks back with a open grip. It feels more natural. Long of the short is the fletching is hitting and cutting my skin on my pointer finger knuckle, on the side towards my thumb. I do grip my bow pretty high, I've watched when I draw and my knuckle sits...

I shoot at an outdoor archery range and it's also where I do my arrow tuning. What I'm doing now is shooting some bare shafts, marking them, and then going home and cutting them on the arrow saw. I can't take the arrow saw with me since there are no outlets at the range. And marking an arrow...

There are very similar tools on the market from other companies (e.g. Fairbow), but they are mostly focused on European fletching shapes.

Lowered my nock point to 5/16 and my 2 1/4 inch feathers are cutting my knuckle. Will longer feathers not cut my knuckle? Because the quill will be farther forward on the shaft. Thanks in advance

I read the tiller thread that was posted on here a while back. I lowered my nock point significantly and zeroed my tiller. This is an attempt to quiet my bow. The bare shafts are flying great but the fletched shafts are cutting my buckle severely. Also causing poor arrow flight. If I raise my...

My 500 spine at 30 inches likes a 175 grain head, if I cut them to 29 inches will it want a heavier head or lighter?

question for you guys that butcher your own. I have done my own a few times, but this year I ran across something I'm not sure about. Killed two does a week ago, field dressed and skinned, hung in the garage until now. temps were in the 30's for highs all week except yesterday and today, highs...

Hello All, I am shooting a Dreamcatcher. I had a string (56 inch, 15 strand flemish) cut by the top tip of the bow. My brace height is at 7.75 (range is 7.25 to 8). I assumed the string was just worn because it was old (I bought the bow used). I purchased two new strings. After shooting for...

I am shooting 30 inch all carbon arrows. Ilf riser, plunger, champion 2 rest. The arrows are bareshafting 6 inches stiff at 20 yards with 125 gr. up front. Now with 100 gr.. up front they are close to 12 inch's stiff. Thought that was quite a difference for 25 gr. Anyway , I am deciding...

Just a got a set of CX Medallion XR shafts. They came with glue-in inserts (adjustable) and pin nocks. I got them full length to cut them down as I tune. Per recommendations I will be using CX Archery glue (is this reversible?). So question is if I need to cut the arrow, I will need to remove...

Anyone know where I can find the thread that talks about making ILF plates out of 1/4 inch nylon cutting board material? I have searched and searched but I cannot find the original thread. Maybe I read it on another site but I am pretty sure I seen it here. Thanks.

Hi all, I've recently started fletching my own arrows and I think I have most of the basics figured out, but I was wondering how and how much arrow flight is effected when you begin to move the fletching toward the head of the arrow. Would a half inch make a significant difference? My second...

This is my first post. Just bought a Tomahawk Diamond ss. I'm getting cuts on my left index finger (right handed). Spoke with 3R and King Kustom... no real help. Byron Ferguson says in " Become the arrow" that you should use left wing helicals and that fixes the problem. That's what I AM using...

As a small way to say "THANKS" to everybody for their support of my Youth Archery Group, and trying to get maximum mileage out of my new arrows saw, and I just hate to throw away 3/4 of a batch of HIT epoxy, so... If you pay postage both ways (ZIP 38134) I'd be happy to cut your arrows to...
