I got tired of screwing around with the Horizons crappy limb bolts and felt both Roberts limbs and I deserved better and am currently enduring a tremendous amount of anticipation and excitement as this is due to arrive today. Plunger, Weights, Rest and all... and I'm icing down my bow...

Hi guys, I am in Lancaster and in Vegas this year. I'll take a BT ILF and a Vanquish SX with me. If someone is interested in testing one or both, you are welcome to do so besides the competition on the training lanes. I'll post my US phone number for SMS appointments on my Stolid Bull Facebook...

First bull elk taken on a certain Indian reservation in modern history with a trad. bow. Seems everyone has used compounds. 25 yd. shot, 100 yd. recovery. Called in with a Screery cow call. I spent the next day showing the director of their Fish and Game my method of shooting and he hopes to get...

I just got back from an Alberta moose hunt with Ryk Visscher's Hunting Adventures. My buddy, Dan, and I were guinea pigs this year for a wall tent camp north of Edmonton about 80 miles. We were smack dab in the middle of moose country and hunted right out of camp on a couple of days. I turned...

Hi guys. Have to admit that I only learned about Stolid Bull thru this great forum. While I am adjusting to the aesthetics, I am very impressed by videos of their shot reaction. Would greatly appreciate comments from owners/former owners of the Black Thunder and/or Vanquish pls. I have DL...

Today I took delivery of some HEX7 Border Limbs for my Stolid Bull black bull riser. These limbs are all synthetic (no wood) Shorts @ 38lbs @26.5 inches. They are super smooth drawing. The one issue I was looking for was some twitchiness in arrow delivery, and so far I have the opposite. This...

Hey TT members, some of you have the Stolid Black Thunder riser and I have some questions. IBO TRD doesn’t allow the use of a rest/plunger/weights/stabs. Could I build up a shelf on that grip/side plate to shoot off like I have on my Best Moon? How about the shot reaction without the bare bow...

I am having a few orthopedic issues. I have an appointment the 24th to discuss the options. What every the option it will stop my shooting for a bit. I was thinking about the Stolid Bull. It is a new riser to the States. I think it is a riser that could make a difference to a good shoot...

Well, I had a lesson with my coach today so for about 90 minutes I was using my "old" rig: Best Zenit BB, Border Hex6 W @ 30# with 1915s and 70 grain tips - 8.5" bh, Beiter plunger and ZT rest. Afterwards, I had 30 minutes during which I slapped the exact same setup (minus the ZT rest) onto...

Hi Tradtalk community! My products recently got a lot of interest and some of the inquiries were about whether I could manufacture the Black Thunder as a shorter version, e.g. for hunting. So, I am thinking about designing a short version of the BT in 21" as a Black Hunter or so. Over here in...
