Based on the fact that a couple hundred years ago to way back when the best bows they had were most likely recurves or horse bows made out of wood and horn etc. Now if I look at almost any type of archery competition these days they have plungers and rests and sights etc, traditional archers...

I've made a target face PDF generator. With it you can generate printable pdf targets that take into account your arrow width so you can score from the comfort of your short distance range. The scores are correct (as the 10ring gets smaller the thicker the arrows, the shorted the distance). it...

I was looking at impaired, legally blind and completely blind archery on YouTube. I admire their desire and efforts however, I do not condone legally blind or completely blind archery. A bow and arrow combined can be a deadly weapon. Launching a projectile without the benefit of a reasonable...

As fire becomes more and more a part of the Southern California archer's life, it is important to keep safety at the top of your mind. Just like rising ocean levels, fires can be a nuisance, but they do not have to get in the way of your enjoyment of the sport. Most importantly, keep in mind...

I was thinking as I read through the Lancaster Classic thread that barebow must be the fastest growing class in archery today. Even a lot of "trad" guys are incorporating rests and plungers in their setup these days, crossing the line into barebow. Does this sound right? Thoughts?

Looking at Mr. Demmer's pix on another thread, I noticed that a lot of archers closed/squinted their non-aiming eye. I do that, too, but it's because of my cross-dominance. I'm guessing that's not the reason for most of them. So, why do they do that?

But that doesn't really make sense in the wet environment in mainland Europe, nor Brittania. We know the...
