Re: NFAA 300 league online..
Gonna be out of town for league this week so I shot a practice round for score. Made a couple tuning adjustments and weeded out a bad (stiff) arrow. Shot a 282 w/ 18X. Felt good. Mid game was a 98.
Gonna try to make up league scores on Sunday or do a tournament if I can sneak away from the family.

Well, this seems to be my Winter league average performance. Shot tonight: 211/4X.
Just not able to compete with you guys, you are such great shots!

Re: NFAA 300 league online..
Thursday at league: 263 w/10X.
Worked 16 hours the day before and was fried. Just couldn't keep it together. I was going to shoot back to back rounds but I was fatigued after 5 ends and couldn't wait to be done.
I wish there were more competitions around here. It's all indoor 3D locally.

Re: NFAA 300 league online..
Real nice shooting str8 shooter.
I shot a 242 at league this week. I switched from 2117s to 2018s and flight seems much better. The limbs I am using now are about 5# lighter than the ones I used last year and i think the 2117s are just too stiff.

Re: NFAA 300 league online..
Another 259, but with 11 X's last night. It's a great game that demands you keep your head in each and every shot. I didn't, in fact I really botched one end with a 17. Ouch.
Two Nat'l champs shooting on the line, that is cool, and of course the newbie is whipping us all so far. He only squeaked out a 273-13 last night though.

Re: NFAA 300 league online..
Last night 216/3X.
Shot it as a FITA 600 round for our club in league competition (4 archers per club, the three top scores count). I'm not the strongest shooter, but one of our top shooters couldn't make it (anniversary). So I had to fill in. Up till now our club has won every league round, including last night's, though we usually win by a greater margin. Last night we won by 1 point! Whew, that was cutting it close! But, as the guy I filled in for always says, "We won, who cares by what margin!" We have one more match to go, so if we can win that one, we will have gone undefeated for the first time since the league began!
Of course, there's more to archery than winning, but it sure does feel good.

Re: NFAA 300 league online..
Glynn,
I'm glad to see you shooting indoor this winter along with everyone else. Are you thinking about going in March to the NFAA Championships?
By the way to add to the postings I shot a 280 with 12x's Saturday and a 278 with 10x's this last Tuesday. I'm shooting Axis 340's with a 100 grn brass insert; total wt. of 630grns. I'm shooting a Proline WARF w/ WW Synerzy med. limbs on it pulling around 55#'s. Now if I can just keep my head in the game and shoot consistantly.

Re: NFAA 300 league online..
Thanks Mike. I shot a 545 600 FITA last week that left me shaking my head. Sure wish I could do that all the time. That day the shots were just going off nice.
You gonna make Louisville?

Re: NFAA 300 league online..
I shot a dissapointing 242 on tuesday. Had two bad ends that did me in.
On Sunday I shot a 259 at practice, and that was with one zero and a one.

Re: NFAA 300 league online..
Scott,
I'm at least thinking about it now, which is a far cry from what I was thinking just a short time ago. I just recently bought my Luxor riser back and am still tuning. I'm about 8" high and working on it. If I get to the point I'm not shaking, I may make it to Louisville if only to give you guys someone to beat.
So you're coming back to Trad? I may have to shoot Seniors and come to kibitz you kids.

Re: NFAA 300 league online..
Shot a 268 w/ 12X on Thursday. Not bad, not great.
After shooting my 300 round I tried a FITA 18m. I haven't shot one of these yet and I'm thinking of doing NAA Nationals. I scored a 526/600. I actually liked this better than the NFAA round. I prefer doing 3 arrows at a time vs. 5. The compound guys in my league shoot the NFAA face faster than I do... and I'm not a slow shooter. I never would have thought I'd have the compound guys waiting on me
Scooter, that 545 is sick... I'm impressed.
Nice shooting everyone.

Re: NFAA 300 league online..
It's interesting to notice how I feel about posting scores now that I'm starting to shoot again. I have started enjoying archery again after not picking up a bow for about 6 months after burning myself out last year.
So it's hard to even post a score because it is not up to what I used to do. Pennsylvania State FITA Indoor. I didn't check my scorecard until after I got home, and I was shorted 10 points. 243, 254. I'm gitnbetr.
