I have a Hoyt Mystic Rebel riser that I'm warfing...
The Hoyt riser is 19 5/8" long with the bolt holes measuring 15 1/8" apart.
The limb pads are 20 degrees as measured with a protractor.

I ordered some Samick Privelege Carbons, medium, 38@28", (38lbs listed weight from Lancaster for a 25" riser). The win/win limbs that I wanted were out of stock!!

I'm guessing they will come out around 44@28 on the 19" riser. My draw is 30.5", and I'd like to hit around 52-54lbs at my draw length.

I am milling two brackets, so there will be full ILF adjustment with the standard ILF bushing. I'm wondering how much "adjustment" I'll get--maybe plus or minus 3 pounds?

I'm wondering if I ordered limbs that were too light?? And I'm also wondering if the Samick limbs run a little "heavy" due to differing measurements by different manufacturers?

I think I can switch my order for other limbs tomorrow; they're not shipping until Monday...

Any input is GREATLY appreciated!!

Thanks!
Marc

I think you'll have to wait and string up the limbs. I have a pair of the same limbs in 32# longs, I don't know what they measured fully bolted down but backed out 4 turns (Hoyt 25" riser) they were 35#'s, my buddies are the same way, 28# mediums, that came out to 35# set in all the way.

I don't think the Koreans have figured out the lbs. vs. kilos. yet.
Maybe we should go to Kilos? :)

Thanks for the response.

Funny thing is this--my "korean" limbs came tonight with a made-in-china sticker, and I am NOT happy with overall finish quality...and one of the bushing nipples is screwed up...it doesn't even stick out past the bushing!

Thanks for the input on the weight---I appreciate it!
