Please correct me if I am wrong:

At least when I look at the precision of my fletching, the quality and angles of the feathers compared with the accuracy of the carbon shafts regarding spine and straightness, the influence of the natural feathers should exceed ar the influence of the shafts by far.

What do you think?

I am convinced that the shaft accuracy of whatever material is minor when compared to fletching, particularly natural feathers.

When I find a 'bad' flyer and refletch it, normally it groups well with the others.

Please comment.

Good fletching corrects slight defects in shafting but only to a point.....to tune the arrow it's best to get both right.....the straighter the arrow flies the quicker the game falls.........

We get some pretty good quality feathers here in the US and I don't shoot well enough to able to see a "bad" feather. If they are all matted up or misaligned it certainly can cause a problem. Like everything else in archery, the performance you get is the sum of all the little details that you get right.

I think Torsten has it about half right. I just got a batch of bad feathers - so warped the clamp won't straighten them. Thought they might set straight until the glue dried. Nope. These things shoot really bad (squirley?) so I would conclude: bad fletching can screw up a good arrow (in my case carbons) but conversly I don't think the best fletch would help a bad shaft.
