Cue -

My thoughts are with you and the Mrs. Hopefully it's something minor. Most GB surgeries these days can be done laparoscopically or endoscopically. All that means is she'll probably be home the same or next day, and actually feeling a lot better.

Best of luck.

Viper out.

Just heard from Cueball. Surgery is still a possibility, but it sounds like some kind of lazer deal may be an option. He asked that we pray for her.

Roby,

I'm lifting u a prayer asking that the hand of the Holy Spirit will be upon your wife, that He will guide the hands of the doctor during the surgery and that your wife will have a speedy recovery and be back home very soon.

Roby,

I hope you don't mind me riding your thread. I would also ask for prayers for my wife. She went to an Orthopaedic Surgeon yesterday for him to evaluate her right knee. She has degenerative arthritis and a torn Meniscus cartilage in that knee. He gave her a shot in the knee and also gave her a prescription for a new anti-inflammatory medication. She woke me up during the night, she had not been able to sleep, was all hot and clammy and queasy to her stomach. She finally got up and sat in the recliner for awhile and then went to the spare bedroom and laid down. Unable to sleep, she got up and started checking out the medication on the internet. Low and behold, it is not to be taken by anybody on blood pressure medication, which she is for high blood pressure! She stayed home from work today trying to get some sleep. Please pray she'll be able to get some rest. She has difficulty sleeping as it is. I think it has something to do with our age, even though I do not have the same problem!!

I am at home had to pick up my 4 year old from church daycare. I have to pick my son up from school at 2:00 pm. Help is on the way. My mother in law will be up from N.O. tommorow. Surgery has not been scheduled as of yet. They are running test to verify the Gallbladder we have had past attacks from GB if it is we will be having surgery rather quickly according to the doc. When I got word this am at work it was a jumble of communication all I knew was they checked my wife in Hospital and wanting to do surgery. It looks like we have slowed down a bit and thank goodness verify the problem and then surgery. Keep praying.

Bill, no problem we will pray for your wife as well. I know God can handle two things at once.

My wifes name is Susan Allen.

I will be in pray for both of these situations. Wish I were closer and could do something else to assist.

I've talked to my wife this afternoon and she is doing fine. She got some sleep and the effects of the conflict between the two medicines has gone away. She will be fine.

Roby,

We'll continue praying for Susan.

Doctors got with me this afternoon. Gallbladder is not functioning properly it should be extracting contents somewhere between 33-50% and Susan's is only working at 5%. He is bring in a Gastro doctor late this afternoon to make sure they agree and will be scheduling surgery in the next day or so we believe at this point.

One other note you guys go in there and find your wife and lay a big smack on her and tell her you love her. It is amazing what my wife does in a days time. Two children 7 & 4 and homework and ballgames and feeding and everything else makes me realize just how lucky I am.
