Last night my oldest son would not hit the pillow until he had secured his own salvation. I knew such was in the works, and his mother and I talked and prayed with him (of course its a done deal :) ).

In a week or so I and a friend (pictured) will baptise him in the very creek where he joined "the man club" this early spring! He will be surrounded by a few close friends and men who will commit to help him grow. MWC (Uncle Matt) among others.

Ditto on the Awesome! I was saved much later in life than your son but I finally got there.

Baptisim in a northern Michigan stream this time of year would sure fill a person with the Holy Spirit in a hurry. Get in and out quick!! :)

K31, too funny.

Mike, congrats big time.

One of the most important things we can do as parents is to raise kids that are passionate about God and their relationship with Him. Your work is not done brother, but take joy in this most important step.

Cato,

Boy is that not the truth. This is the first step in a grand adventure that will last all of my years.

What a blessing! Praise the Lord! The angels are going to be singing that day! You must have done as He instructed.
