Hi Folks!

Hope to hang out here a while....
A friend led me to Bob Gordon, and I got "WARFED".

I am 61, and have owned or shot a great many of the top bows... always searching for just that perfect one....

I bought a Black Bear risered WARF from Bob with 45# KAP carbon/wood limbs, and am pretty blow away...

I was just about to put money down on a $1200 DAS Kinetic, when a friend told me about WARF bows...

I am just very happy with my bow.... It is ALMOST perfect....grin

Now if we can just find some short risers, and get Hoyt, win-win, and the other olympic archery companies to build some hunting weight and length limbs we would be golden...

You see I live in New England, and anyone who has been in our woods, knows how very thick they are with briars, brambles, mountain-laurels, swamps, et... A SHORT bow is the way to go out here. 56-58"..

Anyway I just wanted to introduce myself, as I think I will be here often....

After shooting my new WARF, I sold 3 of my recurves, and another is on the block.....

I will just keep the BW, and the WARF....

I may be asking a lot of rookie questions, but will try to read some old posts first, so as not to make a pain in the butt of myself......

Hey Van!!

Thanks,,,

You know I for the life of me can't figure out why Hoyt, PSE and some of the other big companies don't come out with bows in what seems like a very "lucrative" market....??

I know Hoyt has their Game Master. But no carbon limbs??
Also I could use a short 18" riser, and do away with the TEC stuff..

The DAS Kinetic is great, but I guess the waiting line is pretty long by now...

I wish them great success, and "kudos" for their forward thinking...

I purchased my WARF from Scott, I can't imagine that the DAS is better than my new WARF.
By the way this is my first post also.

Those warfs are great shooters for sure everyone on there way to the top needs to buy one to shoot while waiting for their DAS to get there! LOL like Van said the trip between the warf and the DAS is a short one. DAS worth the wait! :shooting: John

bjd!!

It was the wait more than the cost, that put me off a tad...
When Your 61, almost a year's wait is a LONG time...lol.....

I would love to shoot, and and own one.... Hopefully one will come on the use market one day...

There is (was?) a lefty on the Women's Classifieds..... ;)

Thanks
and be well!!
