Can you imagine the pressure of trying to keep all those churches going in the right direction? I have to assume he knew God was doing it, but still, it seems like it would have been depressing for him.

I wonder what he thought about the future of the church, by the end of his life. And yet look what God has done with it.

Paul was uniquely chosen by God. He was surely the kind of guy you would want on your team, whatever the cause.

Cato,

I beleive he fought the "Good" fight all the way to end always trusting in christ and always "Knowing" what god had promised him. God doesnt lie.

The "Church" to me is almost an impersonal definition compared to christs "beleivers".

Paul, so dearly loved and cared about not only spreading the gospel but also about those that had accepted christ.

It was a LOT harder being a beleiver back then, then it is now and paul was always concerned about those that accepted Christ in remainig strong and keeping the faith.
