As an experiment I tried putting some of the little micro-limbsavers on the limbs of the 38# PSE Zone limbs. (I've given up of the #34 Hoyt GM limbs) I tried the limbs first on the GM riser and then twisted the string up an put'em on the Mizar. The string is a fairly light small diameter FF string with no other silencer materials. Without the limbsavers it was quite noisy and the tips danced a bit after the shot. Then I placed them on the limb tips so the string just lightly compressed them with the bow strung but at rest. It made a really significant difference in the noise and limbtip activity level.
I will definantly be buying more of them.

I did not think to do a before and after chrono test, but I did weigh one and it weighed 30 odd grains---so in might have a slight impact on arrow velocity; but I doubt it would be as much as putting stuff on the string.

the only down side is that I forgot to really clean the limb before I stuck them on and one worked loose---but they come 3 to a pac so I replaced it after proper cleaning

I have some of those Mini's as well, but haven't tried them as of yet.

FWIW - when it comes to silencing my hunting rig, I'm not too concerned with moderate/acceptable slow-down in arrow speeds. That is why I have no concern about having wooly-wisps and mufflers on the string. Haven't done a chrony comparison with and without, but the difference seems negligible.

Wonder if PB has any chrony comparison data re: bare string vs. MM string?
