Years back I took a side job painting the outside of a church. The price was settled on and I went to the paint store to pick up the paint and needed supplies. The job was going well, the paint was going on the walls nicely and all looked good. When I got to the third wall, I realized that I wasn't going to have enough paint to finish the job, I wasn't sure what to do, I couldn't get anymore paint, so I added some thinner to the paint and continued on. But by the time I'd gotten to the fourth wall I was almost out of paint, Oh no, what was I going to do? So I added even more thinner to the paint, and kept going. About that time one of the deacons of the church stopped by, looked at the job, and could tell what was happening. He approached me with a stern yet compasionate look on his face, and said to me " Son, you need to repaint and stop thinning" :)
