I recently borrowed an old clicker from a friend to try out. I really like shooting with it. It taught me I wasn't using enough back tension and getting my elbow back in line with the arrow. I think it is going to help alot. It is a cheap stick on type and the tape doesn't hold it very well, not to mention I shot thru it several times because I didn't get it back all the way and launched it off the bow with the arrow. I'm sure that didn't help. I have looked at several at Lancaster. I definately do not want one that is a stick on. I have sight mount holes to attach it. I am looking for one that can accomodate an arrow that is about 1" past the sight window. It also needs to be durable in case I let loose before I get the arrow back far enough. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Robert Merrell

Hoot -

Clickers really aren't rocket science and a home made one will work as well as a store bought.

The clicker only helps with back tension by causing to to hold longer, and so "confirm" that BT is engaged. It's real purpose is to ensure a consistant draw length. Remember BT only counts at the instant of release and AFTER, what you do before is almost meaningless!!!

Viper out.

I have a new cavalier clicker that I bought and tried for about a dozen arrows, but when I switched to my spigarelli riser, it had it's own clicker. If you want to try out the clicker, I can send it to you. If you like it, you can buy it. If not, send it back to me. Hows that sound?
