Some of you will know Richard Allen, archery in the school coach, teacher, police chaplain and friend of mine here in Kentucky. He has been scarce around here lately but he and I talk and I know that his wife is undergoing a heart surgery in the morning and could use our prayers.
I don't understand the procedure very well, but I understand they go in from the neck and are doing something with a nerve or nerves in an attempt to regulate a racing heartbeat. The surgery could last from 2 to 6 hours, depending on, well...on whatever it depends on. (I just don't know enough to even try and sound intelligent about it.)
If some of you would lift her up to the Father in the morning it would be appreciated by Richard and by myself (as well as by his wife, I'm sure, at least when she wakes up :) ).
