I stopped in to see Sonny on my way home from work this evening. Today they did a berium thingy on his esophogus. Everything there looked good. They also checked out his heart real good from his previous heart surgery & that all looked good.

Tomorrow about 11:00 he will be taken into surgery to do a lung biopsy as well as "gluing his lungs to his rib cage". They are hoping to do this laproscopically but if they can't, they will have to open him up. They've told Joyce & the family not to expect to get to see him before 4:00 & he will be in intensive care for at least a while. I hope to stop by again tomorrow to at least try to connect with Joyce since I will not be permitted to see him.

He was in good spirits though not physically feeling great. He got a card from the OBA & boy was he tickled to get that. Cards could be sent to the VA Hospital in Dayton to his attention - 4th floor, Room 115. I told him more cards were coming & I told him about the internet being used to get the word out. It really touched his heart to know people were praying for him & thinking about him. SO if you haven't yet, please do so soon. He told me John Brewer & his wife stopped by yesterday & that meant alot as well. He could be in there for about 2 weeks yet.

Don't stop praying. Thanks!

We will continue to pray. Hang in there Hoot. I'm sure this is a time when he need you and all his friends the most.
