Here's a good dip recipe that's very easy to make. Flake 4 oz. of hot smoked salmon, 2 bricks of cream cheese 4 Tbs of water. Mix in a Kitchen Aid at high speed for 2 minutes. Sure in the refrigerator for 24 hours. Use with crackers or fresh veggies. Don't be fooled when you first make it. If you taste it, it will seem like there isn't enough salmon. The flavor gets stronger after 24 hours.
Enjoy, Dick

My family is very big on smoked mullet spread. My dad is an old timer fisherman, and mullet was his main catch for a life time of years. He smokes the fish up in his old refrigerator smoker, and then mom does her thing to turn it into smoked mullet spread. We've eaten at least a few tons of that stuff!! Good eats, and memories !!
I suppose if ya can make it out of mullet, any ole smoked trash fish would probably work just fine...
