Now then. :) A gobbler walked in front of the camera while I was in the tree not far away. After dark I got down to see if the camera took a pic of it. it did not so I turned to walk away and it took one of me; and this buck. He was about 8 feet from me and I didn't know he was anywhere in the world. I'm gonna try to get it blown up and enlightened so I can tell exactly how big he is. Great pic though and a once in a lifetime thing.

when I looked at the pics yesterday when I got them developed. I thought at first it was a combination of 2 pics that got mixed in but it's not. At first I felt like a cracker head but I guess when it's that dark, you can't see your hand in front of your face. That's my excuse anyway. :)

I think that buck has been watching you all year, he just finally got caught. :D

maybe you need a scare crow in camo in your stand as a decoy and you hind in the bushes near the stand and shoot him. :2cents:

I doubt very seriously if I ever see him again. I'm gonna spend some time in that area though. I might get lucky.

Well I really don't see the buck in the picture to tell you the truth. But if you say there's one there, I believe ya. Now do I have this right, you're going to get a picture of you two laying together?

That was no buck. That was the buck of ghosts past. He was probably taken many years ago and now his spirit roams the forests of Boho's stompin grounds.

Fellas, Just click the pic and you can see much better. I'm on the left and the white image you see on the right is the bucks throat patch. He has his nose up in the air smelling; me prolly. I'm gonna try to get the photo enhanced this coming week and hopefully I can post a better picture. Tom

the thing I've always wanted to know was how many big bucks I've walked right by or they have evaded me without me even knowing it. Maybe someday the good Lord will show me clips of them for the humor of it.

the photo can't be enhanced anymore than it is already. :( oh well, now I can tell everybody he's a 20" 10 point and they can't prove me wrong. :)
