Robert. A couple of times we have had threads develop that discuss various books and printed material that help us improve our skills or our understanding of the tools and traditions of our chosen sport.

It occures to me that a reference section that would feature a annotated bibliography or list of books and learning material might be a handy and useful tool.

somewhere that we could post book reviews and commentaries on stuff we have found that helped us and might help others. Maybe broken down into a couple of catagories, shooting skill development, archery history, equiptment development and design, bowhunting, etc.

Some instructional videos would be nice listed as well / And to have one place to search for them makes sence.

So now, it's all about just doing it. This site is your site. Think about how you want to do it and I'll make sure it happens. If you want a new forum category, think of what to call it and where to put it. If you want something more sophisticated, I'll look into that, too. I can look into either buying the books to stock in the store or we can just try to find the best existing prices from current sellers and provide links to them as a service. Or anything else you can think of. I think it's worth doing and doing right .

Everyone who is interested in this or has an idea about how they would like to see it done, please share your thoughts and we'll decide and just do it.

Very good idea...

My only suggestion -

No books or videos listed without a reader's/viewer's brief summation posted with the link to that material.

Hello All,
you got very good ideas here.
I am very interested to read more about archery (there is really a lot in your fascinating pages here).

Regarding instructional material I see a problem: Archery has so much to do with impressions, feelings, opinions (love it) that it may cause a risk to get mixed up.
I may compare it with books for cooking: the more you read about cooking and recipies will not make you a better cook: concentrate on one instructional paper and stick to it (my opion only). Otherwise it is very easy to end up with a mixture of all and you advance by two setps and retreat three...

What concerns me: I would be a great shot if I would practice as much as I read....
