Turkey The Long Bow way

Well tomorrow April 2, I am getting my Turkey permit for here in New Jersey. This will be my first time turkey hunting and I'm going to try it with My long bow.. The Hard way.. When I get the dates I will post them and after the season I will post that too... Good or Bad

Good luck, I hope you get a shot.I have one more week before I can try it with my warfbow.My longbow will not work in my small blind and all my short ones have wooden risers. ;)

Good luck with that longbow on those turkeys. I am a BIG, BIG believer in string trackers when hunting turkeys with a bow. Saves a LOT of lost birds.

Best of luck to you MG. You might wanna give that string tracker thing a whirl. I got one for texas, and Im wonderin why more people dont use them.

Just to let everyone know, My permit dates are April 25 to 29 ( Zone 8 2nd week ) and all the Saturday dates April 23,30 May 7,14,21 (zone 8 ) hopefuly in 14 days I can get 2 Gobblers.
