The two recurve shooters are Kenton Stankie and Scott Young. The two longbow shooters are Ken Redding and myself. Is England sending a time ?

Hi Bill

Asked the GNAS Field Rep they said no team is going. The AFB\Longbow isn't allowed in GNAS Field so I can only shoot in Recurve Trad or Barebow in england, not quite sure how they would decide the team selection as I would be the only American Longbow shooting. :sbrug:

I will consider going as an Independent competitor, I will have to investigate further and it's a bit short notice, Iwill have to check to see if I can get the time off work etc.

I had the honor of shooting on the 2003 USA 3DI team. That was the first FITA/3DI contest. It was strictly a team event. What an honor it was to shoot for my country ! We had a great team and the memories I have from that trip are priceless ! Standing atop those risers and listening to the Star Spangle Banner play was truly one of the best moments in my life.

I'm sorry to hear that England is not coming as a team. In 2003 it was a " team only" event. I guess the fact that there are going to be individual awards this time you could enter as an individual. Maybe if thing's work out I will have the honor to meet you.
